　　一些短語以否認的情勢湧現，但卻表達確定的語氣，屬於一種誇大構造。

　　比方：

　　no / nothing + 比擬級 + than

　　No one knows her deeper than me.

　　=I know her deepest.

　　=No one knows her as deep as me.

　　沒有人比我更懂得她了。

　　Nothing is simpler than this.

　　=This is the simplest.

　　=Nothing can be as simple as this.

　　沒有比這更簡略的了。

　　nothing less than“和… …同樣，不亞於，完滿是，的確是”

　　It was nothing less than a disaster.

　　=It was nothing but a disaster.

　　這的確是一場災害。

　　That’s nothing less than a kidnapping.

　　=That was / is nothing but a kidnapping.

　　那的確和綁架同樣。

　　That’s nothing less than a sheer fabrication.

　　=That was / is nothing but a sheer fabrication.

　　那純潔是閉門造車。
