　　9月13日托福綜合寫作標題：

　　關於three explanations for why toucan evolved a bill(the hard pointed or curved outer part of a bird's mouth)的爭議。

　　瀏覽文章：three explanations.

　　1.weapons against predators;

　　2.color and shape to hide from predators;

　　3.get rid of excess body heat.

　　聽力舉行逐一辯駁，以為這三個explanation都分歧理unconvincing

　　1.Can’t function as weapon. It is made of hollow bones filled with air, so it’s thin and lightweight or else it can’t fly. If it was used as a weapon, it will be easily damaged in activities like jabbing(猛戳);

　　2.They have to call out to each other in order to use the color and shape to blend into surrounding areas. if they do this, they would draw attention from predators;

　　3.Healthy toucans don’t use their bills. They need bills to get rid of heat in the daytime but at night when the temperature is lower, they don’t. they then need to retain body heat;

　　It is as important for older peopleto study and learn new things as it is for younger people.

　　本文可以從老年人本身的需求動身，剖析老年人進修新事物會帶來哪些利益。而考生采用不和概念的話，除剖析弊病以外還可以商量老年人更應當將時光與精神消費在哪些工作上。
