  星戰7沖破中國票房記載 Star Wars breaks Chinese box office records

  China came late to Star Wars but arrived in a big waywhen the latest film in the series broke Chinese boxoffice records on Saturday, according to Walt Disney.

  《星球大戰》(Star Wars)雖較晚上岸中國,但來勢洶洶。據迪士尼公司(Walt Disney)的數據,該系列片子的新作沖破了中國片子市場的周六票房記載。

  Star Wars: the Force Awakens is the seventh movie in a franchise that has spanned decades.

  《星球大戰:原力覺悟》(Star Wars: the Force Awakens)是星戰系列的第七部,該系列的上映時光超過了幾十年。

  Disney said it did not have official box office results yet but estimated $33m in tickets were soldon Saturday, making it the highest opening for the company in China — and the highestSaturday opening in mainland cinema history.

  迪斯尼表現還沒有獲得官方票房數據,但估量《原力覺悟》上周六票房達3300萬美元,創下了迪斯尼在中國的首日票房記載,也沖破了中國要地本地片子史的周六首映記載。

  China is expected to become the world’s largest film market in the next two years. A strongperformance by Star Wars there will put it in a position to surpass Avatar as the top-grossingmovie ever released. Film market analysts have pointed out that the biggest films haveperformed similarly in China and the US in recent years.

  中國有望在將來兩年內成為環球最大片子市場。憑仗在中國的強勁表示,《星球大戰》將超出《阿凡達》(Avatar)成為影史上最賣座的片子。片子市場剖析人士指出,比年來大制造片子在中國和美國的票房表示相似。

  The mainland opening attracted large crowds, many of them aficionados of the series who hadfirst watched pirated copies of earlier films.

  星戰7的要地本地首映吸引了大量觀眾,個中不乏很多星戰迷,他們旁觀前幾部星戰時看的都是盜版。

  Hu Bin, a 30-year-old office worker in Shanghai, recalled relying on pirated discs and onlinewebsites to watch the Star Wars franchise. He was among the first viewers to watch the newfilm at a cinema in Shanghai. But he rated it “not as good as I thought”.

  30歲的上海白領胡斌(音)回想,他是經由過程盜版光盤和在線網站旁觀星戰系列的。胡斌在上海一家片子院旁觀了這部星戰新作,是首批觀眾之一,但他的評價是“不如我想的那末好”。

  Zhang Xiaobei, film critic for state broadcaster CCTV and a Star Wars fan, watched his firstmovie in the series in 1982. “The name itself brings back a lot emotion from our generation,” hesaid. “The early eighties was a time [in China] when people craved contact with the outsideworld, we were insatiably curious about western culture, and we were stunned after seeing thespecial effects, and the scope of the human imagination.”

  官方的央視(CCTV)影評人張小北也是一位星戰粉,他於1982年看到了第一部星戰片子。他說:“片子名字自己就給咱們這代人帶回很多感嘆。八十年月早期那會兒,中國人盼望與外界打仗,咱們對西方文化非常好奇,當咱們看到星戰裏的殊效,和人類想象力的規模後,咱們被震動了。”

  Zi Feiyu, independent film critic, said: “The Star Wars series has a group of diehard fans inChina, even though the old Star Wars series was never released in China.”

  自力影評人子非魚說:“星戰系列在中國有大量死忠影迷,縱然老星戰系列從未在中國上映過。”

  The country’s total box office take increased 49 per cent in 2015, according to state figures,generating $6.8bn in revenues. China is adding an average of 22 screens a day.

  據官方數據表現,2015年中國總票房同比增加49%,收入達68億美元。中國的屏幕數目正以均勻天天22塊的速率增長著。

  With global sales of about $1.6bn The Force Awakens remains behind Avatar, which made$2.8bn in 2009.

  《原力覺悟》今朝環球票房約16億美元,仍落伍於2009年獲得28億美元票房的《阿凡達》。
