美特斯邦威創始人周成建失聯一周後復出

　　The billionaire founder of one of China’s most famousfashion brands has returned to work a week after hiscompany said he had gone missing, the latest in a series of entrepreneurs and financiersapparently embroiled in Beijing’s anti-corruption campaign.

　　中國有名時裝品牌美特斯邦威(Metersbonwe)的開創人周成建已重返事情崗亭，一周前他的公司稱與他失聯。近期有一批企業家和金融家仿佛被卷入北京的反腐爛奮斗，周成建是最新的一名。

　　Metersbonwe, one of the best known brands on the Chinese high street, said in a statement tothe Shenzhen stock exchange last Friday that founder Zhou Chengjian, China’s 62nd richestman with a fortune of Rmb26.5bn ($4bn) last year, was back at work along with Tu Ke, boardsecretary.

　　上周五，美特斯邦威向深圳證券生意業務所提交聲明，稱公司開創人周成建與董事會秘書塗珂都已在崗履職。周成建在中國富豪榜排名第62位，客歲的身家為265億元國民幣(合40億美元)。

　　In a statement on January 7 the company said it was unable to reach either man and that itsshares were suspended while company officials investigated media reports that Mr Zhou hadbeen detained by police. No details of the disappearance were given in last week’s statement.

　　美特斯邦威1月7日發通知布告表現，因為該公司未能與兩人獲得接洽，公司股票將暫時停牌，此間公司引導將核實關於周成建被警員帶走的媒體報導。美特斯邦威在上周的通知布告中沒有泄漏周成建失聯的詳情。

　　However, shares in the company will remain suspended until at least February 5, a furtherstatement said, adding that the company planned a “major asset restructuring”.

　　Mr Zhou’s disappearance followed close on the heels of that of Guo Guangchang, chairman ofthe conglomerate Fosun, one of China’s best known companies internationally because of itsownership of Club Med. Mr Guo went missing in December and was later reported by hiscompany to be assisting authorities with an investigation.

　　周成建失聯以前，復星團體(Fosun)董事長郭廣昌也曾失聯，因為收購了地中海俱樂部(Club Med)，該團體成為了中國在國際上最著名的公司之一。郭廣昌在客歲12月失聯，隨後他的公司申報稱，他在幫忙政府查詢拜訪。

　　The detention of the two men caused jitters in the mainland private sector, which had beenlargely untouched by anti-corruption investigations that had targeted mostly governmentofficials, executives of state-owned companies and financial industry executives.

　　Mr Guo was subsequently released and allowed to travel overseas. Sources close to thecompany said at the time he was not the target of the investigation.
