With over 50,000 undergraduate and master's students, 1,800 doctoral students and 5,200 employees, Stockholm University is one of the largest universities in Sweden and one of the largest employers in the capital. Applicants with citizenship in a country outside the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland are required to pay an application fee and tuition fees for studies in Sweden.
National application fee
Students with citizenship in a country outside the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland will be required to pay a 900 SEK application fee. Students pay one application fee for each semester they submit an application for. It doesn't matter how many courses or programmes you have applied to in that semester, or if you have applied to different admissions rounds in that semester – you pay 900 SEK.

Tuition fees
Students with citizenship in a country outside the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland will be required to pay a tuition fee that will vary depending on the type of course or programme. The price per academic year for studies within the Humanities/Social Sciences/Law is SEK 90,000 and within the Sciences SEK 140,000.
Some programmes have special prices that range from SEK 90,000-140,000.
