The Yangtze River Delta is set to build a globalreputation for its cluster of cities by 2030 byfocusing on high-end equipment manufacturing andmodern services, the State Council said on lastWednesday.
國務院上周三表現，將以高端設備制作業和當代辦事業為重點，到2030年將長三角地域建成具備環球影響力的都會群。
At an executive meeting presided over by Premier LiKeqiang, the State Council ratified a plan to furtherdevelop the Yangtze River Delta urban cluster.
在李克強總理主持召開的國務院常務集會上，國務院同意《長江三角洲都會群成長計劃》。
Two other such clusters are the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei province region in the north and the PearlRiver Delta urban cluster in South China's Guangdong province.
其他兩個如許的都會群成長是中國北方的京津冀地域和中國南部廣東省的珠江三角洲都會群。
To cultivate new momentum for economic growth and upgrade traditional industries,innovations should be strengthened in key areas of high-end manufacturing such asinformation technology, the biopharmaceutical industry, automobiles and new materials,according to a statement released after the meeting. Additionally, modern services such asfinance, technological research and development, and logistics should be enhanced, it said.
會後宣布的聲明指出，應強化信息技巧、生物制藥、汽車、新資料等高端制作業癥結範疇立異，以培養經濟增加新動能，改革晉升傳統家當。同時，還應成長金融、科技研發、物流等當代辦事業。
Local governments should conduct pilot programs to establish an integrated market offinance, land and property transactions, and they should cooperate on public services such aseducation, healthcare and social security, the statement said.
該聲明指出，處所當局應展開試點，樹立金融、地盤和產權生意業務一體化市場，應當與包含教導，醫療和社會保障等在內的大眾辦事合營起來。
It added that the Yangtze River Delta urban cluster should make great efforts to attract foreigninvestment and talent while testing free trade ports and making foreign trade easier.
該聲明彌補說道，長江三角洲都會群應當為吸引外洋投資和人材作出偉大盡力，同時測試自由商業口岸，使對外商業更易。
Lyu Bin, director of the Urban and Regional Planning Department at Peking University, said: "Iam optimistic about the city cluster's future, because the region has the country's mostintelligent people and most opened-up economy."
北京大學都會與地區計劃系主任呂斌表現：“我對這一都會群的將來很樂觀，由於該地域具有天下最有聰明的人和最開放的經濟體。”
