托福聽力功能題解析

  功效題在托福聽力測驗中其實不罕有,功效題常常考核教給與門生之間的問答,平日有兩種方法,一是門生提出概念然後傳授評價,認為這個概念準確大概毛病,但毛病時平日傳授不會直接指出,而是婉轉的說,二是門生提出疑難,傳授引誘門生答復,下面為考生舉例剖析:

  例一:Why doesthe professor say this?

  A. To offer a hint about the answer to a question he asked

  B. To clarify a question that a student asked

  C. To find out whether students understand question he asked

  To find out whether students understand an important comparison hemade

  Student:

  Mostly iron?

  Professor:

  Yeah… iron andsome nickel, both of which are metals. And, if you're trying to find metal?

  Student:

  Oh! Metal detectors!

  And, if you're trying to find metal?”

  傳授拋出來了半句話,然後是升調,也便是問句語氣,是在引誘門生答復後半句,門生切實其實答復了:“Oh! Metal detectors!”便是為了引誘門生得出謎底,傳授談到一個奇異的征象便是大批存在的石頭隕石很難被找到,比擬之下另有一種金屬隕石輕易被找到。傳授引誘門生願望門生得出相幹謎底。然後門生說出了金屬探測器一說

  Professor:

  Well, think back to the very beginning of this course.
