Professional Recognition
The Western Sydney University Interpreting and Translation degree is fully accredited by the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI). You will be entitled to accreditation at the professional level (formerly Level 3) upon successful completion of the degree and at least one of three specialisations (Translation into English, Translation from English, Interpreting).
Career Opportunities
Australian employers are required to recruit accredited Interpreters and Translators. As this course is approved by Australia's national accreditation body, the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI), graduates will be qualified to work as interpreters and/or translators in:
