　　Things You Should Know Before You Apply

　　Applicants should make sure they type in the correct personal information, when undertaking the online application process. In principle, modifications or cancellations are not allowed after completing the online application.

　　Applicants are fully responsible for any disadvantages they may incur due to errors and omissions in the information provided.

　　Be sure to make and keep photocopies of all completed forms. Submitted documents become property of SNU and will not be returned to the applicants. The application fee is non-refundable.

　　Admission once granted will be rescinded, if false information or unfair practices for admission played any part in the process. This applies even after a student is enrolled at SNU.

　　Applicants are not allowed to utilize a cross application approach, which can lead to disqualification. Cross-application is defined as when an applicant is given more than one registration number after submitting multiple applications. Submissions of multiple applications mean either applying more than one graduate course, or applying both undergraduate and graduate course at once.

　　Applicants with dual citizenship are not recognized as being eligible for International Admissions Ⅰ. Those applicants are only subject to the Eligibility Status for International Admissions Ⅱ as defined on page 4.

　　Applicants, who transferred during their prior course of studies, must submit their full complete academic records from all of the applicable institutions including Transcripts and Certificate of Graduation/Attendance.

　　Original documents should be submitted. However, should they be unavailable, copies must be authorized by the originating institution or notarized by a public notary in the country in which the document was originally produced before submission.

　　Documents which are not in English or Korean will not be accepted. If it’s in any other language, you must submit a notarized/certified translation (in Eng. or Kor.) completed by a public notary in the country in which the document was originally produced.

　　Those applicants who were admitted to SNU within the last 5 years through international admissions and intend to apply to a Master’s or Doctoral program are exempt from submitting the following:

　　* Official certificates of graduation and transcripts from universities outside of Korea Applicants exempt from submitting any of the above documents should submit the transcript and the Certificate of Attendance or Graduation at SNU instead.
