　　Most degree courses offered by LMU Munich are taught in German and require sufficient knowledge of the German language. All foreign-degree applicants must prove their proficiency through an approved German language certificate. LMU will accept one of the following:

　　The examination certificate of the DSH II (Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang, German Language Examination for University Admission)

　　The Kleine Deutsche Sprachdiplom or the Große Deutsche Sprachdiplom of the Goethe Institut

　　The Zentrale Oberstufenprüfung (ZOP) of the Goethe Institut

　　The Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache (TEST DAF) with a score of 4 in all 4 examinations

　　Das Sprachzeugnis der Kultusministerkonferenz, Stufe II (Language Certificate of the Conference of Ministers of Culture, Level II) 4 x C1

　　The Deutsche Sprachprüfung II of the Sprachen- und Dolmetscher-Institut München
